Welcome to the Google Tutorial!

Gotta question? Google it! Most of us use Google on a daily basis to find information, but Google offers more tools to the savvy researcher than first meet the eye. This tutorial includes three mini-tutorials that will help you to conduct research more efficiently on the World Wide Web. They include:

At the end of this tutorial, you will be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of these online research tools and be able to find what you are looking for on the web more quickly, including full-text articles from scholarly journals.


You may view the mini-tutorials individually, or you may complete them in order beginning with Google search. If you were assigned this tutorial for a class, check to make sure you are completing the correct section(s). Additionally, each mini-tutorial includes a quiz in Moodle. Please complete the quiz in order to receive credit for completing the tutorial.
